Gemma Dunleavy is a singer-songwriter from North Inner City Dublin who has catapulted onto the Irish music scene in recent years. She has previously collaborated with artists such as Murlo and Swing Ting and has also been involved in former Cocteau Twins member, Simon Raymond's Lost Horizons project. Gemma released her debut EP Up De Flats where she explores her community in Dublin's Sheriff Street. She said that each song on the EP is representative of a different stereotype that she grew up around.
